Iphone AP

So for this project I would like to make a music iphone ap...I am trying to do three artists for now but I have noticed its been taking a while creating the whole design so I might just do one artist for now.  I am making an iphone ap that plays the artists top song.  Then it will have a list of albums and you can click through them to play them.  At the bottom of the page it has a menu. One will be a biography on the artist, a calender that you can flip through and buy your tickets, fun facts, a store where you can buy tshirts, posters, music, and has new trends, a fan page (with tweets and more), and a fundraiser where people can donate to the cause.

Minor Project 6: Schematic

In this minor project we had to create a sitemap or a diagram that showed how our website would function.  I made a sitemap with images to help show what my menu would be doing and what webpages it would link to when you click on the names found on the menu.

Minor Project 3: Slideshow Redone

In minor project 3 (MP3) we learned how to make a constant loop through our slideshow.  In mp2 we learned to loop the slideshow back to frame one.  Once the slide show looped to frame one the slideshow was over and could not move forward or backward to any other frame.  It was stuck permanently on frame one.  In mp3 we learned to loop the slideshow, so it would not stop permanently on frame one.  To do this we had to alter the code and make sure the instance names matched up.  I also learned to link a website to the slideshow so people could go to the website and see where the photos came from.

Minor Project 5: Brief

This is my website I made in IDD161.  This website was designed to show off my work on the internet. The interactivity I would like to add by using flash catalyst is to have a menu appear and click to different parts of my website.  I would like the menu to fade in and appear when someone hovers over HOME.  I already have two buttons that have interactivity but I would like to make them cleaner by making them close and open easier.  Also for the footer I would like the text to glow when someone scrolls over it.  I then would like the side bar to have buttons that allows moving up and down.  Also when someone hovers over the picture it will have a fade-in effect of a larger version of the picture with a description of it.  I then would also like the images of myself to have a hover over.  When people hover over the images the picture will show the whole image and have a small caption about the image.  I would also like to move my music option in my website to the menu that allows people to play and stop it. I would also like to have the gray scroll bar to be on the right side of the webpage permanently. So when people expand the webpage it will remain on the right.  I feel that flash catalyst can make this website more interesting and interactive.  Below I have show what I would like my website to do.

Minor Project 2: Our Own Slideshow

In minor project 2 we had to create our own slideshows with images of our choice.  We then had to replicate what we learned in class.  I decided to make a slideshow on my favorite athlete, Maria Sharapova.  I took images off of http://www.australianopen.com/en_AU/index.html because Maria Sharapova was starting the tennis season off with the first big grand slam the Australian Open.  The last grand slam she won in 2008 until her shoulder injury that caused her to sit out of the tennis season for a while.  It is her second year back since her comeback and has gone back to her original service motion.  To make the slideshow more impressive I decided to put mini captions of what the photo resembled and what was going on in the photo.  I also felt the buttons were very small and covered the photos when clicking through the slideshow.  To make the buttons visible and useable I decided to make the buttons a little bigger and shifted the alpha to 50%.  The next challenge of this project was to figure out how to make the last frame loop back to the first frame.  I researched how to do this but found the only way to use code snippets was to use the option go to frame and play.  To make this work I had to put this action on the forward button of the last frame of the slide show.  This allowed the slideshow to loop back to the first image of the slideshow.  Even though I was able to make the slideshow loop back to the first image it forced my slideshow to end at the first image.  I hope to learn in class how to make my slideshow loop and not stop at the first image.
